Everything is a Facet of Love
When you see all as a part of the One, you experience deep inner peace, profound love, and unbridled joy.
~Love~
You are loved as if you were the only being that Love created. As inconcevable as that might be to the human mind, it is true of how Love loves everyone and everything—every cosmic dust particle, matter, and non-matter. It loves you as if you were the only one. There is only one being, and you are an aspect of It. You are not separate from the One. How can Love not love itself?
When fear arises, remind yourself that you have never been separated from the One. To help you with this, Love offers the following exercise: Visualize a multi-universe-sized diamond with an infinite number of facets. This is a metaphor for the One. There is nothing that exists outside of this diamond. See yourself as an inextricably connected facet of that diamond. You are one with the One.
Your ego/fear wants you to think that you were carved out of the One diamond and sent floating into a non-existent universe where One is not. That can never be because there is nothing that exists outside of the One. All time, space, and dimensions live inside the One. Inside the One, fear cannot hide.
No single metaphor can truly capture the essence of the One. The diamond metaphor is not the ultimate metaphor for what is. It is simply one way to see that, just as a facet does not exist separately from a physical diamond, you are never disconnected from the One. The One is much grander and more stellar than a diamond. It is totally inconceivable, unable to be captured in words or mental images. The One is meant to be experienced, which, if you choose this path, is why silence is so important and why the interaction of doing and not doing is important. It is a path where silence is not a passive activity.
In silence, you dive deep into the interconnectivity between you and the One. It exists regardless of your understanding of It. The more you dive into the interconnectivity, the easier it becomes to live the unitive state even when you are going about your daily life—whether socializing with friends or riding public transportation. If you keep doing the work of diving deep into the One through silence, you will bring that state of being forward into your life. It will become a more conscious part of your being, but at that level, “conscious” is no longer the right word—it just is. Living as an expression of your unification with the One becomes your operating system—always running in the background—unity/love, unity/love, unity/love. No one outside of you is separate from you—not those who you admire and love, and not those who you find egregious. There is no blade of grass and no tar on the pavement that is not a part of you.
Diving deep into the unitive state releases fear and unease; it releases judgment and self-righteousness. When you see all as a part of the One, you experience deep inner peace, profound love, and unbridled joy. That is how you will know you have arrived. So, gather up all the aspects of yourself and luxuriate in the oneness of the One being.
