You must see through the eyes of your heart. There will always be those who are smarter, better-looking, more athletic, and more skilled than you, and there will be people who are less so. None of it is a reflection of your true value or theirs.

If you are ever intimidated by someone or simply feel inferior to another, consider how Love turned the idea of overvaluing others on its head. Love says, By valuing others, you are putting limits on them. They are so much grander than you realize. And so are you. Everyone is invaluable. No limits. Pure potential. You decide how you want to see yourself.

When you feel intimidated, you implicitly assign more importance to another person than you do to yourself. But in the eyes of Love, no matter how much grander you think someone is, your opinion of them makes them less than they truly are. And, of course, your perception of yourself is making you less than you are, and it will continue to do so until you see yourself as limitless, pure potential.

So how do you see yourself and others as the invaluable beings you or they are?

You must see through the eyes of your heart. There will always be those who are smarter, better-looking, more athletic, and more skilled than you, and there will be people who are less so. None of it is a reflection of your true value or theirs.

When intimidation seeps into your consciousness, see it as a red flag to take a step back and re-evaluate the situation through the eyes of your heart. Stop, if you find yourself creating a balance sheet of their assets versus your own. That is coming from your head, not your heart. Go into prayer or meditation and ask to see yourself and the other person from a higher perspective. See yourselves as two souls simply doing their best. It is not your job to assign value, but rather to simply observe and love. Love yourself. Love them.

See yourself as the glorious, invaluable being that you are.
